Lizzy is available to coach teachers on arts-integration, universal design and online instruction. With a history of mentoring and training teachers for CPS schools, Backyard Chicago and the Chicago Children's Theatre, Lizzy brings assessment-based practices into a coaching relationship resulting in greater effectiveness and engagement in the classroom. With a Master's Degree in Special Education, Lizzy brings inclusivity to the forefront in designing creative classroom experiences that benefit teachers and students. Lizzy's experience co-leading the Diverse Learning team at Piccolo Elementary and leading the Arts team to measurable impact in the classroom also translates to team coaching and observation. Lizzy has experience in arts-integration and anti-racist professional development facilitation that led to measurable increases in relational trust according to the 5 Essentials Survey. As an arts educator teaching through online platforms, Lizzy has developed tools and strategies for adapting instruction to this new medium and coaching other teachers into greater confidence and creativity in this emerging landscape.
